I've been trying to find ways to introduce you to Pink Floyd, in case you aren't familiar with them. But I'm not really sure how to go about it. One day, I heard someone say, ""Pink Floyd is not a band; it's an experience,"and I think I agree.The band's history is as long as it is complicated. Just know that they're from England, formed in 1965, and "retired" in 1994. They reunite from time to time for concerts and other special occasions.Between 1973 and 1979, they released four albums that are considered some of the best in rock music (Is their music even rock?) or even in contemporary music in general.The best way to discover them is really to just listen to these albums in their entirety.
