I have just finished reading ‘The Science of Magic’ by Dean Radin. This is a book about psi phenomenon (a vast set of topics some of which I have listed below). I have always found the possibility of the psi being veridical, fascinating…and, as I mature in my own contemplative practices, increasingly compelling. The mainstream scientific community (at least publicly) decry most psi phenomena as woo. Despite many studies now showing experiences such as Telekinesis and clairvoyance having small but statistically significant effects1. And despite their willingness to embrace the equally woo manifestations of quantum physics (such as entanglement or the weirdness of how our consciousness impacts reality, the so-called observer effect). Personally, I have differing views on the various topics of psi. Yet I like to keep an open mind on some of the claims I find more fantastical. How about you?
