Imagine that you have one goal in life: to become the best version of yourself. Everything you do, every decision you make, is guided by that goal. Just imagine this for a few moments... How many people really live like that? What would the world look like if we all did? Would it be the same as it is now? I believe that our definition of the best version of ourselves changes over time and with experience. Yet, in every stage of life, we pursue what we believe is best. At one point, we may think that getting good grades and being a good student is the highest achievement, and many of us strive for that. Later, a new version of ourselves wants to get the best possible job and climb the corporate ladder. Then we may want to build a family, find happiness, achieve financial security, and raise wonderful children. I know this is a very general picture, and many people may not relate to it completely.
