One of the things I’ve been enjoying about my pre-sunrise morning walk is seeing the Moon up in the sky in the early morning hours. Here’s an untouched photo taken with my phone from a couple of days ago. Artemis II successfully completed its mission last month. This occurred while I was chasing storms on the Great Plains, so I didn’t keep up with the mission like I normally would, but the mission was a success and I saw video of the astronauts being pulled from the returned capsule out in the ocean. It reminded me of the excitement I felt around space exploration when I was young a boy. I think it’s absolutely amazing that four astronauts journeyed farther than any human has journeyed before during this mission. I continue to read and watch video around the mission. The technology is really cool and the bravery displayed by these four people is astounding. I salute all of them. I’ve had the feeling we’re sort of “reinventing the wheel” when it comes to space travel. I don’t know if…
