I Bought A Vacuum Cleaner

Oh no, not the first one ever. I haven’t been living in a cave for nearly 46 years. I’ve had a pretty awesome Shark for several years and before that another Shark. I like the brand. But our new house is a bit too small for a heavy, clunky corded upright. I don’t usually mind vacuuming, but I’ve been tripping over the cable constantly and trying to squeeze the thing into tight spaces with varying degrees of success and a not insignificant amount of swearing. It’s time to try a more portable solution. I’ve been hesitant. I don’t like battery-powered appliances because they usually aren’t as powerful and then they drop dead halfway through the job. Vacuum cleaners in particular are power-hungry, especially if you want decent suction. I’ve got cats who shed some pretty dense fur and children who think bins are optional, so I can’t skimp on performance. I’m sad to say I spent 3 days researching which one to get. Another Shark was the obvious choice, but after a lot of thinking I settled…
