I took the Pixel Drop plunge yesterday and updated to the latest Android 17 / June Pixel Drop and… it’s not been a smooth experience. The first thing I ran into was that if I’m scrolling down a large webpage quite often if I flick to go down the instant I let off the flick, the page is going up at the speed I was going down. This also affects which direction I’m dismissing notifications – if I flick right, I often see it dismiss left. The second was Bluetooth pauses after a minor interruption – I initially thought this might have been unrelated or related to Android Auto, but it appears that was a known issue in the 17.4 beta and now I have it. I’ve been told I’m offline in a couple of apps (most notably the Ooler app and a couple of ads seem to be affected) even though I’m online and things seem fine. Also evidently not just my issue. Evidently switch to Mobile data is what I’m getting. I also lost a widget. It’s back, I didn’t know the widget loss was a thing until I read this. So…
