Amazon Delivery – New York, New York It was day two of our visit to NYC, and we were on our way to our first activity. I was snapping pictures as usual of things I found unusual. Perhaps this Amazon delivery vehicle is normal for New Yorkers, but I found it hysterical. Living in the suburbs of Austin with ample space and generous houses, we have large delivery vans from Amazon. That’s, unless the delivery has been farmed out to gig workers using their unmarked vehicles. Still, most are significantly large and capable of transporting large boxes and are engaged in bulk delivery of suburban goods. I suppose it’s a bit different in the dense urban jungle that is Manhattan. Smaller, nimble, and easily parkable vehicles are what make sense. Though they must have larger trucks, too? I’m sure New Yorkers buy large screen TVs, and this oversized delivery bike won’t hold very many of them or even one. Blog readers, you’ll love my free monthly photography magazine.
