June 17, 2026 I got a notice the other day that iA Writer version 8 is out. The new Command Palette caught my eye, and after checking it out, it’s definitely handy. I actually just wrote about how much I use the Command Palette in Drafts. A command palette probably won't be enough to make me switch back to iA Writer full-time, but I'll give it a go for a few days. Custom themes would probably clinch it for me, but that’s not likely to happen.
