Last year’s amount and quality of blog posts I published satisfied me. The goal was to write again, no fixed plans, but on a somewhat regular basis. You can see when I dropped it again in the blog post archive. The GenAI hype bubble left a mark on me. I don’t even want to start ranting about it, there’s too much. I stopped blogging because it felt like I would feed the slop machine instead of human brains. My posts would land in datasets and affect the output in good, bad or mediocre ways. Now I need to learn to not give up and continue blogging. If we stop, we will lose the web we used to like to explore and learn from others.
