July 2014 Rather confusingly, the previous walk along the coast (as opposed to the boat trip to Puffin Island), I was starting the day at home. Today was the same, but a year earlier! I didn’t do the walks on this part of the coast in order as you can see and today I had a short walk planned after I made the long drive up from home, which was close to the A55, so I wouldn’t have to go far out of my way. The drive went well until I got around Birmingham where I got stuck in traffic (this always seems to happen if you go near Birmingham) but after that I had a fairly clear run the rest of the way and arrived at Moelfre a little later than planned. I hoped this would give me enough time to catch the bus at the end of the walk back to Moelfre, as I was camping for this trip and hence needed to check into the campsite by 6pm.
