Getting around faster in Drafts

June 16, 2026 I’ve been using Drafts for years. It’s the starting point for almost everything I write. Over time, I’ve settled on two specific features that keep me moving fast and out of the menus. My Command Palette setup The Command Palette is a game-changer for my workflow. I hit Cmd+Shift+P (or tap the icon), and a quick-search window pops up. From there, I can run actions, execute commands, or switch workspaces just by typing a few letters. I trigger almost all my Drafts actions this way or via dedicated keyboard shortcuts. It completely eliminates hunting through menus for the tool I need. How I switch workspaces Moving between my workspaces with a mouse is too slow. I prefer using keyboard shortcuts to jump around. To pull this off, I use an action group called the Workspace Switcher. By default, Drafts uses Cmd+1 to open my draft list and Cmd+0 for my action list. This action group fills the gap for me, mapping my specific workspaces to Cmd+2 through Cmd+9. I just had to…
