I have graduated from the psychology program. I can't believe it's been five years. The graduation ceremony took place inside the majestic hall of Aula Medica, a glass-covered building in the outskirts of Stockholm, most known for its Nobel Prize lectures. We walked up in alphabetical order and accepted our letter from the president. To her credit, she shook hands with everyone. We even had a person who called out our names on the stage.1 Thank you Hugo for making us feel seen at the ceremony! The whole auditorium echoed with hurrahs from loved ones. A reminder that people need people to flourish. I saw my parents in the crowd. My dad had brought his camera and he snapped photos at every chance he got. He looked so proud and happy, I got teary-eyed thinking about what this accomplishment meant for him and mum. Hope filled the room as optimism spread across people's faces.
