let's recap

Today's been pretty good. Kinda rough start with tree people coming by early-ish, a slightly strange interaction but not horrible. Got the big maple fixed up (mostly) and then spent some time cleaning up things in the garage, voting my primary ballot, and then taking a long walk at Chatfield. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Rivian Waypoint charger was both open and free! It's 9.6kW, so after a 90 minute walk, I had gained about 15% charge from when I left the house. EV life has been pretty fantastic. I listened to a few episodes of the Fixable podcast to help get my brain back into work mode. I also happened to read through a job posting for a role that I think I could actually do which is not just the same thing I've been doing. That felt strangely promising. It's a lot less than I make now, and also seems to be NYC-based, so I don't think I'll apply...but it does help me think through what I can do in my current role.
