I've had a back and forth relationship with posting throughout my life. don't worry, this isn't entirely a metapost — but I have thought about this recently now that I set up links.posting.haus, because in a general sense it's a way of "surfacing my brain". I started using Obsidian last year and have loved it ever since, even with its couple weird foibles. I particularly love one of its built-in plugins, that visualizes your Obsidian vault as a graph. Here's what my brain looks like in Obsidian! A lot of that graph are 'daily notes', which is the vast majority of my writing in Obsidian. Daily notes are, as you might expect, notes that are attached to days. I've found it a pretty good tool to track media intake. Articles or webpages I've found are a type of media intake! But I also used to really like posting links on this blog. So creating links.posting.haus was kind of a way to surface that part of my brain.
