The last couple of weeks before the end of the school year are always hectic. Joey and Sorayah went on a business trip to Kentucky for her work, and are back now. We’re celebrating my Mom’s birthday this weekend, and Father’s Day a week early, with some BBQ chicken thighs and sides. Test Driving Cars I test drove a couple of cars this week before dropping the Mustang off for service; I wanted to feel out if I would rather have a new car or keep the GT, anticipating some costly repairs. I drove a yellow Subaru BRZ, and a Mazda MX-5 Sport (a Miata, of course). Subaru BRZ I loved the BRZ; it wasn’t loud in the way the Mustang is, but it’s small and quick and tight. I don’t think the four-banger would ever knock my socks off, but it was a great ride. I think I could live with one of these. MX-5 Miata The Miata was a lot of fun, too, but it immediately sounded like a toy when the salesman started it up, and it did nothing on the test drive to make me think it wasn’t. Fun to drive?…
