It's alright. Regular cute romance with regular characters, the premise for their connection is unique as they bond over what qualifies as "niche rock" to the manga creator which includes but is not limited to Nirvana, Red Hot chili peppers, Pearl Jam and Bon Jovi??????? Music snobbery aside, it's an inoffensive lesbian romance set in high school. I don't understand the hype as part of it was hyping up how much color was in the first volume justifying a $20 USD price tag. If that is the real reason for the price then holy hell this book is overrated as I can find 4x the color quality and variety in a single $3.99 Batman comic. If the reason for the higher price is instead a higher compensation for the manga creator then I'm on board and consider my complaint moot. All in all, if you identify as a misunderstood loner for your music taste and also happen to be into cutesy lesbian romances, then give this a manga try.
