As the owner of a ragged Knicks jersey from 1999 (that no longer fits well), I should be in a celebratory mood today. But yesterday we had to say our final goodbye to Zelda, a dog we had for eleven wonderful years. I am writing down some memories and reflections, and will be publishing a memorial post about Zelda someday soon. The celebrating today belongs to the City of New York, and Mike Browns’ Knicks team. The first one to win a championship title in my lifetime. I loved the energy and personalities on this team, and they deserved this victory. The Spurs were a competitve team all season and will be one to watch next year, too. Mixed emotions, for sure. I’ll see you all tomorrow.
