2026-06-07Hello! I think I'm going to try and make this a cohesive series involving dice outside.I used to make loads of pre-constructed photos with minimal effort just to be creative and unconventional. I've described that process a bit before, but I haven't published any of them to this site. I also haven't done many pre-constructed photos in a while, so I hope this multi-day series will suffice :-).If yesterday's selected image was about the dice representing small seeds of good luck planted for the future, this is the first few summer signs of that luck appearing. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come in the real world, I could really use it about now...Yesterday's image was lit by cool white light overhead. This time, I've let the golden hour sunlight show its true colors as a warm glow in the back. It doesn't distract from the subjects (dice and coins) too much, and I like the colors.Speaking of sunlight, I put on an amount of sunscreen I consider sensible and others consider…
