Nau maiYesterday we enjoyed a day of rest in Indianapolis. Bené Blanco was parked outside our hotel in a suburb of northeast Indianapolis yesterday. The hotel itself was called Hampton Inn Indianapolis-Ne/Castleton and what it lacked in elevator maintenance and pleasant room scent it made up for with a delightful pond and an enthusiastic knoll. After checking in I headed out to get breakfast, a smoggy walk along East 82nd street to a Vietnamese restaurant I had found, located in an orbital strip mall on the northeast edge of the greater Castleton megaplex.Here are a few photos from my walk, a journey that was unpleasant while I was walking the busy highway and trying to find a working crosswalk, but became quite enjoyable once I branched off…
