The Clearing

I’m super excited to be starting a new series with Greg Wilder called The Clearing: The Clearing is a monthly secular sound environment held in downtown Keene, NH. We present 90 minutes of live, slow-moving, beautiful music, composed and improvised in the room for deep listening, rest, and enjoying one another’s company. This sort of community-oriented, secular + spiritual music event is something I’ve had in the back of my mind for a long time, and I’m super excited to bring it to life. The music has been really fun to prepare for — very different than my usual dark/quirky thing, veering into ambient. The mission for the music is to be beautiful and sublime. While there are prepared sounds, the soundscape and implementation is completely improvised. I’m excited to see where it goes! For more info, check out the dedicated page.
