#5572: Vifon Mie Goreng – Poland

Another one found at Evergreen Asian Market in Everett, Washington. I swear I’ve reviewed this already however I see nothing when I look it up. Looks to be meat free but check for yourself. To prepare, add everything and 150ml boiling water. Cover for 3 minutes. Finally, stir and enjoy! An instant noodle block. A sachet of powder soup base. A sachet of liquid base. A sachet of seasoned oil. A sachet of fried shallots. Finished (click to enlarge). Added scallion. This was very odd. The noodle is broad and flat. Hydrated, to my chagrin. The flavor? Well, it had a slight broth to it. It was a kind of soy and sweet thing. This didn’t say mie goreng to me at all. Just didn’t seem like something enjoyable to me. 1.0 out of 5.0 stars.
