I was out in the garden this morning, multitasking as always: looking for subjects for #SixOnSaturday, deadheading roses, pulling up weeds, picking some flowers to take to my mother, picking cherries before the blackbirds get them, enjoying all the bees and ladybirds, while taking photos of most of the above. I was rather ill equipped, with a pair of secauters in one pocket and my camera phone in the other. With a handful of cherries in one hand and a bunch of flowers in the other, that didn’t leave any free hands for deadheading or taking photos. However I managed somehow. I’ve tried to keep to six for #SixOnSaturday 1. Here is a cherry, ready to be picked. 2. And here are the flowers: Canterbury Bells, safely delivered to my Mum’s care home this afternoon: 3.
