Trying to very slowly work through my Steam backlog (an impossible task) by playing through some shorter games in addition to my favored very long RPGs. First up is Mighty Gunvolt. This 2014 game is an 8-bit shooter akin to the Megaman games featuring characters from three different indie game franchises: Azure Striker Gunvolt, Mighty no. 9, and Gal*Gun. It was a bit weird that this game was even in my Steam library, as I have not played any of the above franchises at all. I couldn't trace it to any Steam purchase or Humble Bundle or whatever so it was a mystery. Steam history told me I added it as a code in 2015, but where did I get it from? Finally figured out that a friend who didn't have Steam got it for free somehow and gave me the code and of course I just always accept this sort of thing.
