Bob stopped me in the break room to let me know about the new thing he was trying out. (1)“Have you tried TV?” he asked. (2) “I watched TV last night, and it really helped me unpack some issues I’ve been having.” Mark couldn’t help but cut in before I could answer. “I’ve heard that some people really went down a conspiracy rabbit hole after watching TV and it really messed them up.” Alvin looked up from his sandwich. “I’ve heard people tell me that they learned a lot from TV,” but Simon, from across the table, quickly cut him off. Simon had personally seen things said on TV that he knew were untrue. The conversation quickly got heated as all four insisted they were correct, and I slipped out to eat my lunch elsewhere.
