Soooooo…what about that dub-dub this year? Like I said Monday in my first impression of WWDC26, “Meh.” , I’ve thought about what Apple announced and remain non-plussed. Two reasons: the new stuff wasn’t really huge, and it doesn’t matter to me like it did before. Let me explain. No big deal There were three key notes to this year’s keynote. The first was about overall general improvements to system-wide stuff and targeted features throughout. For example, window corner radii in macOS are now uniform. Wow. And everything should run faster now — things were optimized. That’s good. But that’s also been the norm since forever ago as CPUs clock faster each year, so it’s kind of…yawn. The second point was about parental controls for kids using Apple devices and Screentime being improved. That’s important stuff but not exciting. And believe me, I care because I have five kids and they each have their own iPhone. I have used Screentime to safeguard them for years. It’s been fine but not…
