my first visit

Obscoru opened I Finally Posted with these words: I've enjoyed reading blogs on Bear for the last couple of months now and have been thinking about starting my own. They made me curious about when I started reading blogs here for the first time. Even though I started this blog in the middle of 2024, I knew I first stumbled upon others well before then. A cursory search showed that I was reading Tiramisu's posts in February of that year. As for how I found his blog, it was likely through Joel's "Posts from blogs I follow around the net" openring list above his footer, which remains there to this day. If we treat that as my first experience of the platform, it took me several months to get started myself. It's been so long since my first post, post limbo, that I've forgotten whether I ruminated or overthought it. Whether I did or not, I'm pleased with how far I have come.
