When you have money, you can afford to make mistakes. Of course, not all mistakes but some mistakes. Today, I was invited to play Pickleball. I forgot to bring my gym shorts, so I played wearing my jeans. Eventually the marshal stopped the game, and I was asked to leave the court. The pro-shop sells pickleball shorts but priced at a huge premium, which I am not willing to play. So, I spend the rest of the session sitting court side cheering my friends. If I have the money, I would have gladly pay for the shorts. The asking price is beyond what I would pay. It was a silly mistake that I did not bring my gym shorts. As I watch my friends play, I know that things would have been different if I have the money. A lot of people mistaken that money is meant to buy luxury items. In reality, money allows us to overcome from our mistakes. It buys us a second chance. We can afford to make mistakes and still can recover from our mistakes.
