... the ability to back up the contents of the card to an external storage device. I want to be able to plug an SSD directly into my camera's USB-C port and let the camera automatically back up all JPEGs and RAWs. That's it. It's neither a novel nor a technically impossible idea, so how come none of the current camera models have this feature? Why is my only option an app that downloads 2MP versions of the photos from the camera via an excruciatingly slow Bluetooth connection (I'm looking at you, Nikon)?
