Review by Sandre the Giant Released: 17th April 2026 The roots of black/death Italians Ignobleth are deep in Archgoat and Blasphemy territory, but recently they have taken a more sinister, eerie turn with their sound and are taking the bestial war metal genre into new and exciting directions. Their new record, ‘Manor of Primitive Anticreation’, is out now through Caligari Records and looks to showcase this new and increasingly esoteric ferocity. The disturbingly grandiose intro track sets the scene for something rich in dark, blackened death metal, and ‘Obelisk of Deformity’ takes that initial unsettling and creates a monster with it. The guitar tone is rusted razor sharp, the vocals are hellish and the drums are a blistering touch back to their war metal roots.
