Some 85 years ago today. How about these great shots of an Australian-manned Vickers Light Tank Mk VIB in Syria, 11 June 1941, dressed in British Caunter camo, a staple of the Desert Campaigns. Caunter-flauge was typically used from July 1940 to October 1941 A13 Cruiser Mk IVA tank being checked over shortly after arrival in Egypt, 1 November 1940.
