VOICEOVER (JOHN HANNAN): It’s Day 9, and four of the five teams have just left the second checkpoint of Geneva. Dick and Jane have made their way to Nice with the help of the French resistance, while Tom and Vera are moving quickly down Italy after passing through the American front lines. Lawrence and Faisal have already made it across the Mediterranean to Tripoli, and are now trying to catch a lift through the Sahara to the next checkpoint of Timbuktu. Sarah and Abraham, however, are heading in the wrong direction entirely on a crowded train in Bavaria. Meanwhile, three days behind the leaders, Bertie and his manservant Jeeves are still working for free bed and board for a radio station in Brussels.
