I’m continuing to shoot cameras I haven’t used in a long while to see whether they stay in the collection. I’ve started with the digitals I’ve accumulated and have reached my Kodak EasyShare Z710. I’m going to give it away right now and say that I’m going to part ways with this camera. Like the Kodak EasyShare C613 I shot recently, its date function goes only as far as 31 December 2025. I just like my files to be accurately dated. I took it on a walk not long ago and enjoyed using the camera as much as I did when I reviewed it some years ago. On this full-sun day I was grateful for its electronic viewfinder, as the sun washed out the back screen. This 7.1-megapixel camera has a 10x optical zoom, which let me capture the Rusty Bucket’s entrance from 300 or 400 feet away. Much the same for this photogenic Starbucks. The Z710’s image have that signature digital Kodak color. It makes this shopping strip look fresher and newer than it does in real life. The pond in my neighborhood remains…
