This week has been a rare luxury in terms of taking leave for ElectroneX, having a King’s Birthday long weekend and taking a few more days of annual leave to recover and get a few things done. I guess that’s only fair because I had banked up way too much leave, so it was time to bring it back to reasonable levels. As a result, I finally had some time to get back to my series looking at my week-on-my-own in London. Whenever I travel to a new city, one of the first things I like to do is go and look for a panoramic view to get a feel for the shape of the city, but also, look for some of the more iconic views that define the city. Because of the sheer number of photos, this post focuses more on the panoramic view aspect, with a few iconic views thrown in … but you’ll see more of those in later parts too.
