Nau maiYesterday we played a headline show in Buffalo, New York. It was sun and blue skies when we left the hotel in Cheektowaga but by the time we had traveled eleven kilometres west to Buffalo and were loading into the venue the weather had changed dramatically. The air was as humid and thicker than a milkshake and huge raindrops were pelting us as we wheeled everything down the slick trailer ramp and across the carpark. Gabe braves the golfball-sized raindrops dropping out of the afternoon squall. I had a late breakfast after loading in, a hotdog I purchased from a street vendor loaded up with ketchup, mustard, chili sauce, onions, relish, and a pickle spear. It was nice to be back at Asbury Hall. The place was still fresh in our minds having played here back in September of 2024. On the outside it was an old stone church and on the inside was the hall, handsome as ever, finely decorated and brightly lit by natural light coming through the many tall stained glass windows.
