In an attempt to have at least one part of my house clean, I came across my old Converse from 2018. The first fancy shoes I bought with my own money. Suddenly, the memories started coming back. I wasn’t making much money in my first job. For the longest time, being able to afford a Converse was just impossible, especially if I won’t be able to wear it regularly in a corporate setting. I already had shoes that I was wearing, mostly from college, since I just graduated, so it wasn’t a problem for me. I don’t really care much about shoes… or so I say, because as someone in their early 20s, U would have loved owning a proper pair of sneakers I can wear anywhere. To give you context on how bad the financial situation was, the pair of my Converse shoes costs more than my 15-day salary.
