The Plane Home – Havana, Cuba Well, it happened, the last post of this very extensive Cuba series. I thought it was my longest ever, but I was off by a mile. My Paris/Switzerland series contained 378 posts. This Cuba series is only 257. However, the big difference was that I broke the European coverage into three parts, with other stories in between. I went straight through with Cuba, starting on October 7th, 2025, and finishing today in June. I had 16 days pre-Cuba covering Tampa, Florida, so the actual Cuba coverage started on October 23rd. I hope you enjoyed it. Unlike the European coverage, I had more variety from Cuba, including architecture, street photography, portrait shoots, and general travel photography. The variety is what enabled me to continue for so long and, hopefully, still has interested readers. The other thing that has changed is my Substack , which has become a second blog.
