Apple's big event happened! I didn't watch the whole thing because frankly i don't care and also because every single person at apple seems to be terrible in front of a camera. This isn't a judgement because i am also terrible in front of a camera, but then again it's not my job to act like a normal person in front of a camera. This new style of prerecorded skits is depressing though, and to my mind does not stylistically fit the image that apple otherwise presents for itself. But i digress. One of my favourite bits about WWDC is where they revert old mistakes and pass it off as new because they can't bear admitting that someone, usually Jony Ive, did something silly. This year, they passed off visually separate header bars and sidebars as a great new feature. And it definitely is a great feature, the new look is significantly more legible and a better design than original liquid glass.
