Last year, Brendon published the software he made to view our Steam sales data for Blendo titles. This app can take any App ID and Steam WebAPI key and display sales data for any specified date range. It is extremely simple. The main window of the app only displays sales data as rows of a spreadsheet representing individual days. The log also displays summaries for the chosen period of time - it will tell you the total unit and USD sales, median units, and median sales for the range you select. This simplicity makes it great for getting a copy-pastable, spreadsheet-friendly readout of something like a major discount period. If you are an indie dev with no finance person on staff who is preparing for upcoming Steam sales, this is a great way to get data for your records without much hard work. I love making spreadsheets, but for some reason making spreadsheets out of real financial data is much less fun than Hobbyist Spreadsheeting, like making a giant list of all my PVP-ready Pokemon…
