I'm not usually into roguelite autobattlers. I don't hate that they exist, I just tend to play them for a few hours and then never touch them again. I mean, I do this with a lot of games. I'll feel like I get what a game's going for and then I'm ready to move on. I like 9 Kings, though. Its 15-minute self-contained runs don't waste your time. The main game mode is good, but the real draw for me is quests, essentially puzzle runs that try to make you come up with something other than extremely buff paladins. Which, if you can get paladins, get paladins. But quests at least show you that other slightly less good options exist. For example, here's a turret that does 14 million damage per second. Enemy HP does not remotely require this--the point is it one-shots 100 enemies every second, and I had two of these. Here are 126 strong wizards: And so on.
