KMRC to donate £20 for every Hornby R30469 4 VEP 3417 Gordon Pettitt sold to the SETG

Following yesterday’s further Hornby 2026 range announcement that included a model of the preserved 4-Vep 3417 ‘Gordon Pettitt’, Kernow Model Rail Centre are to continue their support of The Southern Electric Traction Group and will donate £20 from each sale of the Hornby Model Railways R30469 Class 423 4 VEP Train Pack 3417 Gordon Pettitt to the Southern Electric Traction Group for the continued preservation and upkeep of 3417. Based on Hornby’s new enhanced tooling suite which improves the shape and positioning of the roof vents, nose end corridor gangways, windscreen wipers and jumper cables; the model is a replication of No.3417 in its current condition. It includes a heavy diecast chassis on powered car for improved running characteristics, 3-pole motor driving two axles on the powered MBSO car.
