Misery In Cathigan is a play-by-post LARP experience, intended as a collaborative writing and worldbuilding exercise within a GM-led framework. You play as a resident in the village of Misery, somewhere in rural Scotland. Over time, as you play, certain players will interface with elements of the world that the GM interferes with more, guiding the experience to a more sinister ending. Misery In Cathigan has no fixed ending to it, nor is there a way to win the game. GM guidance will be present but much of the richness of play should come from players creating a village community they feel a part of. You can join the game on my Discord. Misery is a made-up village in rural Scotland, nestled beside the Cathigan Wode - a thick, conifer-dominant forest. The next nearest town is eight winding miles away.
