The AI Fatigue

I ranted big in my journal today, cursing like I rarely have. Reason? I am absolutely tired of reading all about AI. It feels like there is nothing that anyone talks about these days other than AI. The voices that don’t speak about AI are the ones I want to follow. I can’t, because those voices are drowned out by the cacophony of people clamouring over this meaningless promise of progress that’s making us hollow within. You use it? Great. Why do you have to go on about it? There is no mastery that you are demonstrating. You are only demonstrating your lack of courage to stand out. After all, what did you really do? You chatted with a soulless token generator. That’s it. Am I surprised? Not at all. Showing oneself off is the most fundamental human instinct. Everything we do traces back to that instinct.
