He noted having noticed that many blog posts shared in recent years by participants in his Junited initiative are no more. From the outset, I agree with Mr. Birming that bloggers can end their blogs at any time and may have good reasons for wanting to remove them from the internet instead of preserving them. Having granted that much, the post inspired me to think about ways to preserve a blog after sunsetting it.
