Do I just keep numbering these? Do I call them something better than links? Findings sounds nicer. So what have I seen this time? Teresa Watts has been sharing her art. I enjoyed Shopping – it’s warm and glows, the light makes these everyday objects feel very special and sentimental. The sketch for this piece is in her sketchbook post, I love seeing artists sketchbooks, finding out how they see, what they notice, how they try new techniques and just play. Teresa Watts definitely has an understanding of pleasing, slightly warm glowy light that I find slightly hard to capture. She has also convinced me that I need a daylight lamp, I’ve been putting off buying a new desk lamp as I’ve not seen one with the right amount of reach and flexibility yet but it’s going to have a daylight bulb.
