Dragstrips, Island Themes, and Lawsuits

Not for the first time (or the second, or the third, or probably the tenth or twentieth), this past week I found myself wondering "what the fuck is a NASSPORT EXPLOSION, anyway?" My best guess is that Bill is trying to evoke the idea of NASCAR racing. NASCAR, if you are unfamiliar, stands for "National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing". So, no, that doesn't help us make sense of "NASSPORT", or why it's exploding (actually, that part might be a lot easier to explain). I have previously described Bill's business strategy as "throw everything at the wall and see what sticks", though to be fair, it's more like "throw everything at the wall and then keep throwing it at the wall and it doesn't really matter what sticks - just keep throwing". Nothing ever really sticks in a "financially viable" kind of way, but everything gets thrown at the wall multiple times anyway, and summer is when Bill throws "NASSPORT EXPLOSION!" (among other things) at the wall, so here we are. Different Day…
