I’ve not watched a ‘live’ WWDC for a while now. As any parent of a 4 year old whirlwind will recognise I just don’t have the time. But said whirlwind and his mother are away for a couple of nights so I sat back on the sofa and watched the entire thing. It’s all very slick, all very nicely produced —shot on an iPhone of course— and there was the usual gamut of interesting ideas. I think overall it was a good set of updates and whilst the Siri AI stuff will play out in the coming months once it arrives I can see a few good things that might make me actually use Siri for more than just setting alarms or adding reminders. Nice to see, as was predicted by some, a focus on little details being fixed and improved. It sounds like iOS27 in particular will make a lot of small differences which will make the usage of my iPhone all the better. I MAY install the Public Beta of iOS27 as I have in the past, but we will see. I am still on an iPhone 14 Pro so as I already don’t have access to any of…
