If humans had taglines, what would yours be? They are everywhere aren’t they? Taglines. A common marketing tool that reduces the complex to a punchy three word slogan. Sometimes they’re so good they become a marker of history. Yes we can. Just do it. Liberty. Equality. Fraternity. If I had a three word slogan what might that be… I think it would be this. Saved by grace I know my world would fall apart without Jesus. He found me when I was eight years old. I was at mass at lunch because I was at a convent school and I couldn’t find friends to play with that day. I thought I could go and sleep at the back of the church for a while before classes started again. Boy, was I wrong. The priest started going through the last moments of Christ’s trial. From his brutal, blood soaked humiliation to his last breath on the cross. Then he shared this truth. That was how much Jesus loved me. That he would go through that pain for me.
