Full Size play “The Song”Sometimes what you really need is 30 minutes worth of pummeling, minimalist-to-the-max rock action. And Philly underground supergroup Full Size provide exactly that. “The Song” — what else could you possibly call it? — is a half-hour, one-chord monster, as guitarists Bill Nace and Dustin Burrows groove with the relentless rhythm section thump of Eva Killinger and Ashley Burrows. It’s like “I Wanna Be Your Dog” reduced down to its barest essentials, the end of “White Light / White Heat” stretched out to ∞. By the time you hit the 20-minute mark, you might start hallucinating overtones and vibrations, weird zones and incantations, losing your heart on the burning sands.
