The Museum of Screens Research Team: Arno bros

The Research Team is a serie of blog post about preserving the history of web game that are no more. “Help the head of HR of Regenere (?) to put his hands on the creas (???). Watch out! DC-Donkey may become violent.” This is a translation from french to the opening of Arno Bros. This is a terrible Flash clone of Donkey Kong, with the face of someone named arno, and another one taking the role of Donkey Kong. And that’s pretty much it. Donkey Kong throw monitors at you, you can’t jump you can only avoid obstacles by climbing ladders. It is tedious, and I have doubts it is beatable. Back at A MAZE 2026 I did a short talk where I presented “unremarkable” Flash games, games no one remember or care about, and why I loved them.
