Today’s choice is a book I actually read a few months back, but at the time I decided just to enjoy it and leave the review for another day. That day has finally arrived, and after a leisurely reread a couple of days ago, I’m ready to share my thoughts. This isn’t the longest of books, and certainly not one I’d recommend as a starting point to the author’s work, but those who are already fans will undoubtedly enjoy the insights into the mind and working habits of a writer who has become a success well beyond her home country ***** Han Kang’s Light and Thread is a collection of assorted texts built around the Korean writer’s Nobel Prize in Literature acceptance speech of the same name (translated by e.yaewon and Paige Aniyah Morris).
